Service Technician

Qualifications:
|
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Technician must be able to be licensed by the state regulatory department.
- Technician must become certified by the state of Missouri within one year of employment. Certification will require passing examinations of both the core manual and all categories relevant to services performed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
|
- Service all assigned accounts by using a systematic approach and following a detailed procedure as outlined in verbal or written instructions. This is to include inspection, application of insecticides and rodenticides, and oral and written communications with customer to assure cooperation, satisfaction and results.
- Maintain and be responsible for inventory in service vehicle and proper record keeping of insecticide and rodenticide usage.
- Check and be responsible for daily service work, and prepare daily summary of activities and weekly or monthly reports as assigned.
- Sell regular pest control services and continually reinforce the need and benefit of regular service programs.
- Attend meetings, seminars and training sessions to continue the learning process.
- Create a professional image for the company at all times to maintain the highest level of excellence in customer satisfaction
- Maintain all company equipment in optimum working condition to enhance efficiency, safety and appearance.
- Expected to wear uniform and maintain neat, clean appearance.
- Be available to work 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday if needed and scheduled.

- Knowledge of pest services, procedures, materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of pest management regulations and safety procedures.
- Skill in oral and written communications.
- Skill in providing pest control services.
- Skill in prioritizing work and making adjustments on short notice.
- Skill in promoting cooperation, building teamwork and resolving conflict.
- Ability to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces.
- Ability to climb over and on top of structures, including attics.
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to inspect for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
