Termite Services & Programs

There are two main treatments for termites: baits and liquid barriers.

Termite baits.  Blue Chip will strategically install termite stations around your home or business approximately every 8 to 10 feet.  We will then monitor the stations for termite activity and bait as necessary to eliminate the colony.  Once a colony is eliminated, monitoring will resume to protect against new termite activity.  For long-term control, baiting is the most effective control method.

Liquid barriers. As termites tunnel through treatment zones in search of food, they are exposed to the liquid termiticide. The termiticide is not only ingested, but also adheres to the termite’s body. Control goes into effect immediately as affected termites spread the material through contact with other termites. This gives immediate control of the termites and forces them out of your home or business.

Integrated approach. Using both methods, we can achieve better results than with either approach used alone. The chemical treatment kicks termites out of your home or business, forcing them back outside. Once they’re outside, termites will look for another food source. They will find our bait stations, and then they are history.
