Blue Chip Pest Services Becomes The First Company Based in Missouri to Join Environmental Protection Agency Pesticide Stewardship Program
We have taken numerous steps over the last few years to become better stewards of our environment. These changes include going mostly paperless in our office, using less water, and buying more fuel efficient cars and trucks to reduce our environmental footprint. These changes have been recognized by the EPA and we have been included in their Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program, whose aim is to reduce pesticide usage in our environment. Our acceptance letter states: “We want to thank you for your continued interest in the Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program (PESP) and for submitting your strategy on behalf of Blue Chip Pest Services. Based on the information provided in your membership application and strategy, we would like to extend full membership in PESP to your company. We feel your efforts, as described in your PESP strategy, fit very well with the things we would like to see all pest management professionals incorporate into their businesses.”

Quality Pro certifies Blue Chip Pest Services for the 9th straight year, the longest of any company in Missouri. Quality Pro is a voluntary program from the National Pest Management Association for companies that agree to uphold a higher standard of service, hiring, advertising, and other business practices. It means that we are going above and beyond the basic requirements of a pest control company and are in a small group of only about 2% of pest control companies nationwide. We were very honored to be among the first in the country and the first in Missouri to earn this distinction.
